First Lutheran Church offers assistance to those who are Hungry in our community
On the First Tuesday of a each month - starting at 10 am - Food Bags are given out at the side door (facing the church parking lot). You do not have to be a member to receive assistance. Frozen Foods are available-along with nonperisable items.
The oldest Lutheran School in America is in Chattanooga TN. First Lutheran Church is supporting the 2015 capital growth campaign for Belvoir Christian Academy.
The Caring Place Ministry in Cleveland helps the needs of those less fortunate. First Lutheran is a proud sponsor of their work.
The Social Ministry Board at First Lutheran has adopted New Hope Pregnancy Center as a ministry they support. Love Offerings are annually recieved for this cause. The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod believes in the Right to Life in all circumstances.
